Alex is an experienced estate litigation lawyer representing and advising clients on a wide range of disputes involving equity, trusts, wills and estates.
Alex has particular experience in acting for clients in estate litigation cases involving the Family Protection Act 1955, the Property (Relationships) Act 1976, the Testamentary Promises Act and the Protection of Personal and Property Rights Act 1988 including proceedings involving breach of fiduciary duty by persons holding enduring powers of attorney, applications to the Court for the appointment of property managers and the execution of new wills by managers on behalf of persons lacking the capacity to do so.
Alex also has expertise in dealing with estate litigation applications under the Wills Act 2007 in relation to the validation of wills that have not been properly executed, the Administration Act 1969 and the Trustee Act 1956 including applications for the removal of administrators and trustees. She has also acted for clients in estate litigation matters involving lack of testamentary capacity and undue influence.
